Payment terms are strictly cash or electronic transfer on or before delivery, unless prior credit arrangements have been made and approved in writing by the Company. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on any overdue accounts.
4. Delivery, Placement & Collection
The Customer must ensure a safe, accessible, and legal location for the skip placement. This includes obtaining any necessary permits from the local municipality if the skip is to be placed on a public road or pavement. The Customer is liable for all permit costs and fines related to improper placement.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the ground is firm and level. The Company is not liable for any damage to surfaces (e.g., tarmac, paving, grass) during delivery, placement, or collection.
The Customer must not move the skip from its delivery position.
The Company will endeavour to meet agreed delivery and collection times but does not guarantee them and is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond its reasonable control (e.g., traffic, weather, mechanical breakdown).
5. Hire Period
The standard hire period is 7 days, commencing from the day of delivery.
If you require a longer hire period, this must be arranged with us prior to delivery. Extended hire is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Unless an extended hire has been pre-arranged, we will automatically collect the skip after the 7-day period.
6. Permitted & Prohibited Waste
The Skip is for non-hazardous, inert waste only (e.g., household waste, garden waste, soil, rubble, wood, tiles).

Asbestos, chemicals, liquids, paints, solvents
Tyres, batteries, medical waste
Gas bottles, propane tanks

Electronic waste (e-waste) such as televisions, computers, and monitors
The Customer will be held fully responsible and liable for the cost of safe disposal and any resulting fines, damages, or cleanup costs if prohibited waste is found in the skip.
7. Loading the Skip
The load must be level and must not exceed the top of the skip’s sides. Overloaded skips will not be collected for safety and legal reasons.
The Customer must not load the skip in a way that makes it unsafe to transport.
The weight of the waste must not exceed the maximum weight limit specified for the skip size hired. Overweight skips will incur a significant surcharge.
8. Customer Responsibilities & Liability
The Customer is responsible for the safe and proper use of the skip from delivery until collection.
The Customer is liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the skip (other than fair wear and tear) during the hire period.
The Customer must ensure the skip is not obstructed (e.g., by parked vehicles) at the time of collection. A failed collection due to obstruction will result in a return trip fee.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that only authorised persons use the skip.
9. Liability of the Company
The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury (including consequential loss) arising from the hire or use of the skip, except where such liability is imposed by law and cannot be excluded.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the hire charge paid.
10. Cancellation
Cancellations must be made by phone during business hours. A cancellation fee may apply if a delivery is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
